About the Dutch Grammar project

Our mission is to make A Practical Dutch Grammar available in as many languages as possible, so anyone can study its subject in his or her native language. The tried and tested approach of the original English edition makes it a sound basis for the translations.

Next to removing the obstacle of having to go through a third language in order to study Dutch grammar, we also want to make our publications as accessible as possible. Preferably as freely downloadable e-books and when in print, at a very affordable price.

So far, we have published a dozen of language editions of A Practical Dutch Grammar, including the original English book. It can be used for self-study, as well as in private or classroom tutoring.

Powerful tool for teaching Dutch to culturally mixed groups

The availability of the many translations can be particularly beneficial in teaching culturally mixed groups, like expats or exchange students. In this case different language editions of A Practical Dutch Grammar can be used simultaneously to enable following along in one’s own language. No other single Dutch grammar can offer such wide multilingual accessibility.
